Our glass candle jar and lid supplier has struggled to maintain reliable stock, and the impact on us has been real. There were moments where we completely ran out of jars and had to ask customers to swap to a different scent that we already had made up rather than make the one they'd chosen. That's not the experience we ever want to give you, and we knew it couldn't continue.

So, reluctantly but necessarily, we went looking for an alternative.
At first, nothing came close. The jars we'd built the brand around had a clean, unfussy style and represented genuinely great value and we weren't prepared to compromise on either.

Almost unexpectedly, we found a supplier who manufactured jars and lids that are very similar in styling, with a cleaner, less bulky base.
An unexpected benefit is that the new jars are slightly lighter, which makes them more efficient to post and has enabled us to avoid a price increase.

We had to order many thousands to make it work, so our new home is now very thoroughly decorated with empty candle jars and lids 😄

As we transition over to these jars, some candles in your order may be our old jars and some our new jars - both are the same quality candle you know and love.

Our small jars remain up to 33 hours burn time
Our large jars move from 70 to 65 hours
A trade-off we felt was worth the supply reliability and price stability. As a thank-you during the transition, we've also reduced large candles from $44 to $42.
